Building across science, computation and systems.
This site is an independent research environment: a permanent, growing archive of papers, notes, essays and projects — readable, citable, and open to scientific discussion.
I came into all of this through computer science, practical exposure, and my interest in solving complex problems. Somewhere within my research I realized that I needed an environment to test and implement some of my ideas, and decided to pursue them with the intention of creating value for others.
That has pulled me deeper into physics, mathematics, computation, and the physical systems underneath them. I tend to move across fields because I like making connections between things that are usually studied separately, whether that is computation and physics, materials and devices, or intelligence and physical systems.
Graduate study is the next part of that journey, with the long-term goal of pursuing a PhD centered in physics. For me, interdisciplinarity isn't really the destination or a title I'm trying to claim. It is simply how I learn and how I approach difficult problems.
